Invitation to Online Open House Discussion on GST Audit Notices for RATA Contracting & SSD Members
On behalf of the Refrigeration and Airconditioning Trades Association (RATA), we are pleased to invite you to an Online Open House Discussion with the Ex-GST Commissioner of Maharashtra to address a matter of urgent concern for our industry.
As you may be aware, many contracting and SSD member companies have recently received GST Audit Notices for previous years, raising huge demand differentials between 18% and 28% GST. This session aims to provide clarity, practical guidance, and insights on navigating these demands and ensuring compliance while protecting business interests. It will also be an opportunity to discuss a strategy on how the association should take up the matter as these audits can happen for the next 5 years even if the GST now stands reduced to 18%.
