Dear RATA Members and the
HVAC&R Community,
It is with profound gratitude, immense pride,
and a deep sense of responsibility that I assume the role of National President
of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trades Association (RATA) for Society
Tenure 2026–28. I am proud to introduce our guiding theme for this
tenure: “UNNATI - Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas".
This theme represents a deeply inclusive approach designed to bring our trade
together, help every member organisations grow, and strengthen the industry
through collective effort.
RATA's core mission is to serve
as a unifying platform for the entire HVAC&R ecosystem. We are here to
support dealers, contractors, manufacturers, consultants, and young
entrepreneurs. To help our member organizations succeed, RATA is focused on facilitating
crucial connections by addressing fundamental business needs:
• Grow: Where are the
opportunities?
• Learn: What is changing?
• Connect: Who can help?
• Represent: Who will take our
concerns forward?
• Contribute: How can we make the
trade stronger?
We understand that while traders,
SSD & contractors, and manufacturers operate different businesses and face
distinct challenges, we all share a common future. To bring RATA to the centre
of the HVAC&R ecosystem, our new national leadership and committee chairs
are focussing on targeted platforms:
• Specialized Forums:
Dedicated committees for the SSD & Contractor Forum, Trader Forum, and
Manufacturing Forum will address sector-specific needs.
• Business Development: We
are driving growth and digitization through dynamic initiatives such as Physical
Vyapaar Sammelan, Gro Bro, Skillathon & Business coach sessions.
• Support & Future Growth:
We have prioritized grievance resolution through the Trade Grievance committee and
youth empowerment through GenNext initiative.
• Industry Exhibitions: We
will continue building our presence through massive networking platforms,
including our Flagship Event RATA CONCLAVE
happening in Mumbai on 17 & 18th Sept 2027, alongside supporting
to ACREX, REFCOLD, .
Our dedicated Vision Committee, Office Bearers, Zonal
Chairs, and RRC Presidents across India are fully committed to this roadmap.
However, it is important to remember that Members make RATA, The
strength of our association relies on your engagement, ideas, and leadership. I
invite each of you to step forward: Participate, Connect, Contribute, and
Lead.
Together—with Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Prayas—we will
achieve true Unnati for the HVAC&R trade across India.
