Rata at the United Nations - Its been our constant endeavour at RATA to reach out to various trade bodies , think tanks and government authorities to ensure our trade gets visibility and we build constructive relationships that can help our members grow their business and our industry gets its due recognition . RATA has been invited to speak at the United Nations Environment programme . The attached file has the details . The main event is the meeting of the parties (MoP) of Montreal Protocol which are essentially government designated representatives which the UN convenes to negotiate outstanding matters and review the progress of commitments made under the MP. The side-events are organised under the banner of MoP by interested parties (such as CEEW) that deep-dive into issues and discourses relevant to MP. The participants from all over the world are encouraged to attend such side-events in order to understand local, regional and sectoral contexts of these issues.
